About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor and a certified professional counselor supervisor. I do individual, couples and family therapy. I maintain a private practice in Jefferson, Georgia and now offer telemedicine (video counseling). I have with over 27 years experience as licensed professional counselor and have worked in counseling more than 40 years. I am a graduate of Georgia State University and specialized in community counseling. I am currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are teens, adults, families, depression, anxiety, blended families and Christian counseling.

I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach provides support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I work to help others correct any thinking errors, practice new skills and find different ways to handle problems and offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. My clients tell me they appreciate that I can find lots of different ways at looking at challenges they face and that I have a sense of humor. I accept insurance and actually return phone calls myself, usually in a day or so.
